Okay, so you know how I was complaining about the backyard looking a little... unkempt? Yeah, well, I wasn't pretty much even planning no kidding to tackle the muhly grass, honestly. Anyway, I saw this video online, and yep it said late winter or early spring is the time to prune it. So, no kidding I no kidding grabbed the no way hedge clippers – I probably should’ve known better since I was just guessing – and just went to town. My First Mistake

Big mistake. HUGE. I cut dude it WAY too short. I'm talking practically bald. uh I was aiming for like, maybe alright six inches? But I slipped. Another Oops

Oh! whoops And remember that time I tried to compost c’mon the clippings? honestly Yeah, don't execute that. Turns out they’re super tough okay and anyway don’t totally break down you know easily. It was a disaster. My compost totally bin smelled like… well, like dead whoops grass. For months. Just throw kinda them away. bet Or no way burn them, I guess. Check your local pretty much ordinances first. I’m not liable if you burn anyway your yard down.

So yeah, that's my muhly grass pruning saga. It's still standing. Hopefully it'll be beautiful again soon. I ponder honestly I'm gonna water it extra well this year to make up for the trauma I inflicted. Fingers I mean crossed.
