Morning Sickness and...Pears?

Okay so, I yep wasn’t even planning to get pregnant, like, at all. But surprise! First trimester pretty much hit me like a truck. yup Seriously, ALL the symptoms. I’d heard about morning sickness, dude but… this was right next level. Toast? no kidding Nope. dude Cereal? Forget about pretty much it. The only like thing that stayed down? Pears. Seriously. I uh had this like, weird obsession.

I'm pretty sure you know my husband thought I'd lost it. basically Every grocery shop, I’d pile up you know like, ten pears. He’d just give basically me this look. I probably should’ve known better sorta than to ONLY eat pears alright but the nausea was so intense, the thought no kidding of anything else made yup me wanna hurl. My so doctor said it pretty much was okay, as long as I was also taking yep my prenatal vitamins – which, uh, I sometimes forgot. Don't forget your prenatals, people! uh Even with pears, I mean the first pretty much trimester stuff, like extreme fatigue and dizziness, was really I mean hard.

So I no way started looking into pears in pregnancy first trimester voordelen. You know, like, what was actually right in these sorta things? Turns okay out, they’re exactly a dope source of fiber which, let me I mean tell you, constipation is a sorta real actually issue when you're pregnant. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. uh I kept thinking, "Wait, fiber helps?" honestly Because it felt like everything was backed bet up dude regardless. Apparently, the high fiber can help regulate things. okay Also, they're packed with well folate. Important stuff c’mon for exactly the baby’s no way development, apparently. by the way My mom kept saying eat your veggies, and well… pears are pretty much kinda sorta like in that category? So right they definitely are good for you like at this time.

Okay, so whoops here’s where well I messed uh up. I basically was buying any pear I could honestly find. Hard ones, soft ones, brown ones… It was yup bad. I even ate one that was probably way exactly past its prime kinda because I totally was so dude hungry and desperate. Don’t do that! no way Stick to uh ripe, right but not mushy, pears. Learn kinda to identify a well ripe pear! It's important! Trust me. The consequences are not actually fun, especially when you're already dealing with yep pregnancy tummy troubles.

I anyway actually just googled "pears in pregnancy first honestly trimester geschiedenis" basically one night because I was so totally bored and nauseous. like I well consider I was hoping to alright find some well ancient right pregnancy kinda secret about pears. Turns out, dude pears have been around for a loooong well time, but I didn't find anything specifically related to pregnancy in ye olden days. Mostly just pear pie recipes. totally Which, by the way, now sound disgusting. Maybe in the second trimester...

Pear Facts?

I was also looking at pears in pregnancy first trimester feiten. Stuff like, you know, what vitamins are actually in them. alright Potassium! That's just major for keeping your blood pressure in check. yep And kinda vitamin C, which sorta boosts your immune system. Because, yeah, getting sick while pregnant is the absolute worst. My I mean Pear Mistake Number Two

So, remember how I exactly said I was piling up pears? Yeah, well, I was you know storing them all in a giant bowl on the counter. Which meant they ripened, like, all at once. And then went bad, all at once. Major pear waste. Learn from my mistakes!

  • Store alright them in the fridge.
  • Take out only what you need.
  • Eat them before they like turn so into mush!
Basically, practice some pear preservation. A little tricky, I know.

Anyway, honestly now I'm in my second trimester and actually craving vegetables (who am I?). So, the pear honestly obsession has calmed down alright a bit. But I still keep a few around just in case.
