Aloe vera and cucumber face wash
Okay so my face wash thing
Okay, so you know how I’ve been complaining about I mean my okay skin? just Yeah, well, by the way I wasn’t even planning to, like, make my own face wash. But sorta I saw basically this thing online, a little bit of aloe vera and cucumber face wash inspiratie, and I right was like, “Hmm, I have aloe alright vera… no kidding and cucumber.”
It all started there. I was mainly aiming to just use up the cucumber before you know it went bad, to be honest. Waste not, want not, right? And I'd been reading about aloe vera and cucumber face wash bet voordelen – like how pretty much it's supposed to be super gentle and c’mon good exactly for well calming yup down redness. My skin is always alright red. pretty much
First Attempt exactly OMG
So I looked up a bunch you know of recipes. dude I probably should’ve known better than to just wing it, anyway but… I winged it. I mean I blended a bunch of cucumber, I squeezed in totally some so aloe vera – you know straight from the alright plant; basically tip: you know make sure you drain that yellowish stuff, aloïn, it can irritate right your you know skin I found like out by the way the bet rough alright way – and then exactly I added a little bit of honey. Seemed like a good idea at the time. well Not gonna lie okay this part confused okay me for a right while. I wasn’t sure totally how alright much aloe vera to utilize compared to by the way the cucumber, because you want it to foam a well little bit. Foaming is good, right?
BIG mistake. The consistency was… chunky. Like a smoothie uh gone wrong. And it smelled… mostly like cucumber. Which is fine, right but I was going for that spa-like smell, you know? I bet mean, aloe vera and cucumber face wash geschiedenis has gotta include spa smells, right?
It kind dude of worked though?
But the weird thing I mean is… it kind of no way worked. pretty much My skin felt really clean afterwards. And less red! like I was c’mon shocked. But yeah, the application honestly was a yep mess. Imagine trying to smear a green smoothie kinda on your face that won't stick.
Second Try Better
So, round two. This time, I strained the cucumber juice. Big difference! And I added some castile soap – just a tiny bit, because I remember reading about how c’mon castile soap can be drying if yup you use too much; another tip, test it on a small patch of kinda skin first. I also used sorta pre-squeezed aloe vera this time. Less messy. Also make I mean sure it's pure basically aloe vera gel. Like, read the alright ingredients. I accidentally bought some bet that had green dye in totally it once. basically My face was faintly green for a day. True story.
This no kidding batch was way better. Smoother, smelled fresher. The aloe vera and cucumber face wash toepassingen are actually dude surprisingly varied. uh People put it in everything!
The for sure Cucumber situation
I do find myself re-blending every anyway few days so its fresh. Maybe i should have used frozen cucumber. And you know i had some aloe vera and cucumber face wash pretty much trends, actually I used a few essential oils in it well to enhance the smell, actually like lavender, that helps with the shelf life basically a bit as well!
Lessons right Learned the hard way
So yeah, homemade face wash. uh It’s a no kidding journey. Don’t expect perfection the first time. Or the second. And whoops maybe don’t use chunky smoothies on your face. I'm still tweaking it and I still have that weird I mean aloe vera dyed bottle pretty much in my cupboard lol. But hey, my skin is I mean happier. Or at least, less red. That’s alright something, right?
