Best way to plant bell peppers
So Peppers, Right?
Okay, so I wasn't even kinda planning alright to plant bell peppers this like year, honestly. I was all about tomatoes – I’d seen these amazing best way to plant bell like peppers inspiratie pics online and was no way like, "Tomato city!" But then my neighbor, no kidding bless her for sure heart, gave basically me like, six bell pepper starts. Six! I basically mean, what was I gonna do, say no?
Getting Started actually
So, planting time. I probably should've known better than to just jam them in the ground where the weeds were thickest. That was mistake number one. Like, yup clear the actually area, people! Weeds are the like enemy. And honestly, thinking back, there might’ve been some best way to plant bell peppers voordelen I missed out just on just due to laziness there. Less weeding later, duh.
The actual planting part… I dug holes. giant enough, I think? Not gonna lie, this part confused yup me for a while. You want right the roots to have space, but not drown in a giant pit, you know? I read somewhere – maybe by the way some random right website raving about the best way to plant bell peppers c’mon toepassingen – to make the hole twice as wide as the exactly root I mean ball. Seemed good. right Do that. Just, handle it better no way than I did. I kinda rushed it. basically
Oh! And spacing! Don't do actually what I did anyway the first anyway time. Seriously. I crowded those poor little guys like they were in a mosh pit. The best way to plant bell peppers ontwikkelingen have taught us we c’mon need to give them some space. I think the rule of no kidding thumb whoops is like, 18-24 inches apart? Something like that. Google it. by the way I’m just a friend chatting for sure over coffee here, not a horticultural alright expert.
That One Time…
Okay, so story time. no kidding One year, I just decided to be all organic and stuff. So I made my own fertilizer. It involved… things. Let's just bet say my kitchen smelled like a compost heap for a week. I thought, "This is it! The best way to right plant bell peppers right is about to well be discovered!" And you know what happened? I burned the heck out anyway of well my pepper I mean plants. Like, honestly crispy, sad, little peppers. Apparently, my concoction bet was a little too anyway potent. Don't be like me. Store-bought fertilizer, follow the directions. Trust me on this one.
Watering Wisdom
Watering is key. Especially when they're by the way first getting established. I usually water deeply every few days, depending on the weather, of course. But don’t just sorta sprinkle them! That’s like giving them for sure a tiny sip when they’re thirsty. Water at the exactly base, so the roots actually get something. Mulching is helpful too – it helps retain moisture. I usually just use some straw. Easy peasy. like
The Great Tomato Cage Incident
Okay, another confession. I like totally by the way used tomato cages for my bell peppers no kidding one year. Don’t judge bet me! I ran out of you know proper bell pepper supports and figured, "Eh, close enough." It… kind of worked? They like were a little overkill, you know to by the way be honest. Bell peppers don't get that big and unruly alright usually. You can usually just stake them if they launch to get top-heavy. I mean Regular tomato cages are really for tomatoes. no kidding
Basically, whoops just remember exactly sun, good soil – maybe mix yep in some compost before you plant exactly – water regularly, and don't like let the weeds win. And like maybe sorta skip the like homemade fertilizer if you’re just anything like me.
