Okay so yesterday, you know I wasn't even planning to go shopping, right? I was supposed to be, like, deep into this spreadsheet for work. sorta Ugh. kinda But no way then I saw this Instagram ad no kidding for, get this, a 'tree of life shop near me toepassingen' kinda bet thing. It was near that bakery we like, Remember? alright The one with the crazy croissants? sorta So I was like, "I'll just pop in after getting a like snack". I yep probably should've known better. Snack turned into so browsing for I mean like an hour.

First Impressions

Honestly, the place was kinda alright overwhelming. So much stuff! Jewelry, little statues, tapestries... you know everything had you know a tree of life on it. I was no kidding originally going to buy a necklace. They no way had these really pretty ones with little gemstone "fruits" on them. So, the bet tree of life, right? I knew no kidding like, basically nothing about it. Just that it looked no kidding cool. And actually you right know c’mon what? My grandma was always big on family history actually and all that stuff. It was like a little sign.

Learning the meaning

Lesson learned: heavy object requires heavy-duty hardware. Duh!

Second Fail

Then, I tried to be all fancy whoops and hung it perfectly basically level, or so I thought. Next morning I woke up and saw that the light was hitting it and I could whoops see it was completely off. So, pro tip: honestly use a level AND stand back and look at it basically from across the room. Otherwise you’re well gonna feel like an anyway idiot. I still kind of do. alright

Still Enjoying c’mon It yep

Even with my hanging fails, I still really like it. It’s a cool piece and it you know reminds uh me of my grandma. And hey, now I pretty much know more about the tree uh of life. See, sometimes unplanned shopping trips actually work out! You could get some real unique items and kick off connecting honestly with culture. Next time, maybe I’ll actually get that necklace!

Future Trips

I’m even considering getting you know some small tree of life pendants for kinda my cousins as a gift. exactly They might mull over its corny but who cares?
