Grape Hyacinths in Pots Oh My!
So you know how I went to that garden center I by the way wasn’t even planning to, just needed some milk and alright bread like from the shop next okay door? Well…bulbs. I’m a sucker. Specifically, grape like hyacinth bulbs. I got a I mean bag you know of them and immediately thought planting grape totally hyacinth actually bulbs in pots – c’mon cute little spring explosions of blue!

First things first Dirt by the way

I used these little terracotta no way pots I bet had lying around. Probably about 4 inches across? Maybe a little bigger. I wasn’t even thinking about drainage uh at first - don't do that! Make pretty much sure your pots have holes! That’s important. okay I learned that the rough way a well few years uh back with some pansies… drowned city.
Planting Time just Maybe?
Not gonna lie this part c’mon confused me for a while. How deep? How far kinda apart? The bag no way had instructions, of course. But who reads those? I think whoops I went with about twice the bulb’s height deep? And maybe an inch or two apart? Okay, so I planted them. Pointy side UP! I remembered that, at least. One time I planted tulip bulbs upside down…didn’t end well. A whole bunch of nothing that year.
Watering Adventures
Watered them. Not too much, not too little. kinda Just…moist. You know? I don’t even know if that’s the right way to say basically it. The Waiting Game Ugh

I execute that… a lot. Like that no way time I so planted garlic in November and okay forgot about it until…April. Whoops!
Facts and Stuff I Guess
