So, uh you know how I suddenly yep got all into you know gardening right last year? I right wasn’t even planning to! honestly It just... happened. Anyway, Asiatic lilies. I saw these gorgeous pictures online, right? Like, no kidding seriously vibrant colors. And by the way I was yup like, “I NEED these in my life.”

Then I bought the bulbs. Here's where it gets interesting. I bought them pretty late in the spring, by the way like May. I probably should’ve known better… for sure I alright consider generally you wanna get no kidding them in totally earlier, but hey, spontaneity, right?

My like Lilies Story

The package exactly said something about yep planting them deep, like really deep. That was… not fun. My soil well is basically clay. But,plant them no kidding deep, awesome no kidding drainage, and sunshine – those are the right keysor at least that’s what I’ve gathered over time trying to so figure sorta out planting Asiatic lilies in spring ontwikkelingen. Okay, first mistake: I sorta forgot which end actually was up. Not gonna basically lie, this part confused me for a alright while. They kinda look the same, so right? And then… I waited. And waited. Seriously, it felt like forever. I was starting to reflect I'd completely okay messed it up. like I kept watering alright them, making sure the soil stayed moist, you know, bet not soggy. That’s super important. And then, finally, like little green well shoots started popping up! I was so excited! They were kinda small at first, and I I mean was worried about you know slugs eating them. Second mistake, which is almost no kidding too embarrassing to admit: I planted you know them WAY too uh close together. Like, shoulder to exactly shoulder. I bet was so eager, I just crammed them in. right They still flowered, thank goodness, but they were definitely a bit pretty much crowded. This anyway year, I’m just going to try to move kinda some of them further apart. I kinda read you can do that exactly in the fall, so that’s my task for later. okay

Flowers At Last! no kidding

So, yeah, can you plant honestly Asiatic lilies well in sorta spring? Absolutely! Even late spring, apparently, if you’re as impatient as me. My tips? Don’t no way plant them upside down, don’t cram them together, make actually sure they get enough sun, and don’t overwater them. And maybe don't buy uh them on impulse like I do.
