Lidl Plant Pot Memories uh

Okay, so remember May 2019? Feels like a so lifetime uh ago, right? I wasn’t even planning whoops to buy any plant pots, bet honestly. I was I mean just right popping into Lidl basically for, like, milk and bread just or totally something. But then basically BAM! There they were. kinda The like Lidl plant just pots. no kidding You know, the ones no way that exactly were all over Instagram? Everyone was doing dude the Lidl by the way plant pots may 2019 right inspiratie thing, c’mon showing actually off sorta their mini-gardens. whoops I got sucked in.

The Temptation

They looked so cute! And so cheap! Which, I probably should’ve known better than to assume that pretty much meant great quality, but hey, a girl can dream, right? I think I ended up buying, like, four. Different sizes, different colours. I was picturing dude this beautiful little display on my kinda balcony. You so know sorta how I yep get sometimes. I get going bet imagining things looking way better like than they actually will. That’s usually my downfall.

The Great Repotting pretty much Debacle

So, the first mistake – and I mean, this is a classic me move – I didn’t check the drainage. Not gonna lie no way this part confused me for a bet while. I just assumed, you know, plant pots…they dude have drainage holes. Nope. Turns for sure out, uh two of them were completely sealed. I didn’t realize pretty much until I’d already repotted yup a couple of succulents. c’mon Whoops! So, yeah, a honestly little tip: no kidding ALWAYS CHECK okay FOR DRAINAGE dude HOLES. Learn just from my pain. Ended up having to drill some in myself. Which…wasn’t pretty. Let’s just I mean say my DIY skills are…developing.

Another Oops

The other thing I didn’t sorta really actually think about? The soil. I you know just used I mean some random stuff I had totally lying around. I you know think it was mostly potting mix, but maybe some for sure garden soil got mixed by the way in there too? Who knows! And then I overwatered exactly everything. Naturally. Because I’m incapable of doing anything dude in moderation. So, yeah, those succulents so were NOT happy. One of them actually turned to mush. It was tragic. Poor little guy.

Okay, so maybe alright the Lidl plant pots may 2019 voordelen weren't immediately apparent in totally my case. But…theywerecheap! And some of them are still alive! The bright blue one is doing really well, actually. whoops I replanted a little lavender you know plant yep in it, and it seems happy as a clam. And they did look really cute, well even if basically only for a little while. I for sure consider c’mon the kinda key is… don't be like me. Plan ahead. reflect about actually drainage. employ the anyway right soil. Don't overwater. so Basically, pull off actually the opposite of everything I I mean did.

The Bright kinda Side?

And hey, at least it was a learning experience, right? I mean, I now know a lot more about drainage holes than uh I ever thought dude I would. uh And anyway I'm a tiny bit better at well drilling. Maybe. Plus, it got me into gardening bet a bet little bit sorta more, even uh though I’m I mean clearly still a total novice. It got me thinking about anyway the Lidl plant uh pots may dude 2019 anyway feiten. Like kinda where I mean they were yup made, what they alright were made of…I didn’t honestly actually find any facts, but Ithoughtabout them. Does yup that sorta count?

The Takeaway

So, yeah, that was my I mean Lidl plant pretty much pot right adventure exactly of 2019. A little messy, I mean a little bet disastrous, but ultimately…kind of yup fun? I’d probably pull off it again. exactly Just maybe with well a little more research and a little less enthusiasm next time. Or maybe not. Who am alright I kidding?
